Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the website glyconex.com.tw (the "Site"), operated by GlycoNex, Inc. ("GlycoNex," "we," "us," or "our"), a company listed on the Taipei Exchange (ticker TWO:4168) with its registered office at 8F, No. 97, Sec. 1, Xintai 5th Rd., Xizhi District, New Taipei City 221, Taiwan.

We are the entity responsible for the personal data processed in connection with this Site. Our handling of personal data is governed by the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and applicable regulations.

Scope

This policy covers only this Site. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that we link to, which have their own privacy practices.

Personal data we collect

This is a static, informational corporate website. We keep the personal data we handle to a minimum:

• Information you provide voluntarily. This Site does not operate online contact forms. If you choose to contact us by email, we receive the information you send us — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message, together with anything else you choose to include.
• Technical and access data. When you visit the Site, our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically records standard technical information, which may include your IP address, browser type and user-agent, the referring page, and the date, time, and pages requested. This is used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
• Data disclosed to our font provider. This Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, your IP address is transmitted to Google as part of the request.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, or profiling on this Site.

This Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services that deliver the Site (such as our content-delivery network and font provider) may process technical data as described in Section 3.

Purposes of processing

We retain email correspondence for up to one year after your inquiry has been resolved, unless a longer retention period is required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Technical access logs are retained for up to one year.

Under the Personal Data Protection Act, you may, in respect of your personal data, exercise the following rights:

• inquire about or request to review your personal data;
• request a copy of your personal data;
• request supplementation or correction;
• request that we cease collecting, processing, or using your personal data; and
• request deletion.

Visitors located outside Taiwan may have additional rights under their local laws (for example, the EU / UK GDPR); please contact us and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

If you choose not to provide personal data

You are not required to provide any personal data to browse this Site. If you contact us but do not provide enough information, we may be unable to respond to or process your request.

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This Site is directed to business, scientific, investor, and professional audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
